
McKeen's Hockey has put together the ultimate scouting guide and prospects guide recently. They dropped their ranking list for every NHL team's prospect pools with the Minnesota Wild coming in fifth on that list.
In addition to that, McKeen's Hockey dropped its rankings for the top prospects in the league. The Wild had one prospect listed in the top ten.
Recently signed college star from Boston College, Will Smith, ranks first on the list. Flyers' Matvei Michkov ranks second, Los Angeles' Brandt Clarke ranks third, Anaheim's Cutter Gauthier at four, and Dallas' Logan Stankoven ranks fifth.
Ryan Leonard, Alexander Nikishin, Yaroslav Askarov, Jesper Wallstedt, and Matthew Savoie round out six through ten on the list.
The Wild goaltender ranks ninth on the list just one behind Nashville's goaltender Yaroslav Askarov.
Wallstedt, 21, played in 45 games last season with the Iowa Wild of the AHL. He went 22-19-4 with a .910 save percentage, a 2.70 goals-against average, and two shutouts.
He started three games in the NHL as well and went 2-1-0 with a 3.01 goals-against average, a .897 save percentage, and one shutout. Wallstedt became the youngest goalie in Wild franchise history to record a shutout.
