Spurgeon skates back into action tonight, bolstering the Wild's defense. Foligno sits out as the team navigates its lineup decisions.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild is back home for a one-off before going on the road. The Wild will play tonight, hoping to clinch a playoff spot on home ice.

Minnesota can clinch with a win or a point against the Vancouver Canucks. It would be the sixth time in the last seven seasons that the Wild have made the playoffs and the 12th in the last 14 years.

More on the game in hand.

Danila Yurov will return to the lineup tonight after being a scratch in the last two games for Minnesota. That means Nick Foligno will come out of the lineup and be a healthy scratch.

Folingo, 38, has played in every game for the Wild since the trade. He has recorded one assist, 27 hits and one fight in 11 games.

Jared Spurgeon will also return tonight for the Wild. He missed the Wild's last game with an upper-body injury. He has six goals, 13 assists and 19 points in 73 games this season.

Minnesota lost 6-3 in it's last game without Spurgeon.
