The Wild announced today that they have sent four qualifying offers ahead of Free Agency.

ST. PAUL - Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin announced today the team has sent four Qualifying offers and did not qualify five players. 

The Wild sent offers to forwards Graeme Clarke, Adam Raska, and Sammy Walker and defenseman Declan Chisholm. They did not qualify forwards Sam Hentges, Dmitry Ovchinnikov, and Mason Shaw, defenseman Simon Johansson, and goaltender Hunter Jones.

Shaw, 25, played 20 games with the Wild this year and recorded one goal and three points. He missed the start of the season after rehabbing his fourth ACL surgery. 

Ovchinnikov, 21, continued to play for the Toronto Marlies after the Connor Dewar trade and recently signed a contract in the KHL with Sibir Novosibirsk. 

Johansson, 25, played 136 games in the AHL with the Iowa Wild he recorded 11 goals and 35 points. 

Hentges, 24, didn't play a single game for the Iowa Wild this year due to an injury. He played 19 games in 2022-23 with Iowa. 

Jones, 23, is 21-37-15 in the ECHL with a 3.46 goals-against average with a .894 save percentage in 78 career games. With the signing of Samuel Hlavaj, the Wild don't need Jones anymore.
