The New Jersey Devils should be looking to strengthen their bottom six this off-season. They simply did not receive enough offense from their depth guys this season, and it certainly played a role in their short playoff run this spring.

Due to this, the expectation is that the Devils will revamp their bottom six this summer. When observing who can become unrestricted free agents on July 1 this year, Carolina Hurricanes forward Jack Roslovic is an interesting option.

Roslovic, 28, would be a clear option for the Devils' third-line center spot if successfully signed. However, he can also play the wing, so they could use him there as well. The Columbus, Ohio native has also provided solid secondary offensive production for much of his career and would have the potential to provide the Devils with just that if brought in.

Roslovic is also coming off a solid season with the Hurricanes this campaign. In 81 games on the year, he posted 22 goals and 39 points. Furthermore, he has recorded at least 40 points twice in his nine-year career, so he could be a nice pickup for a Devils club that could use a boost.

Nevertheless, it will be very fascinating to see if the Devils end up making a push for Roslovic this off-season. He looks like he could be a good fit in New Jersey, but time will tell if they target him from here.
