Retired NHLer Brandon Dubinsky called out Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella for scratching Sean Couturier.
Dubinsky played for Tortorella on the New York Rangers and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He is a veteran of 823 games and last played during the 2018-19 season.
Dubinsky was a hard-working forward who put forth an honest effort in each game. He is a perfect player for John Tortorella because he was responsible in all three zones.
His honesty doesn't stop when he calls out his former coach, saying his "tactics are getting old."
Tortorella is one of the best coaches of all time in the NHL. He's been behind the bench for 1534 games, amassing 739 wins, which ranks 9th all time.
Torts has been around the block. He's seen it all, but in the age of social media, former players publicly share their opinions of him and his decisions. Although Dubinsky doesn't like the decision to scratch the Flyers captain, it likely won't phase Tortorella.
