Nick Seeler has signed a four-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers with an AAV of $2.7 million.
Reports said GM Danny Briere would likely extend one of Sean Walker or Seeler. That result, now known as Walker, was traded to the Avalanche earlier today.
Seeler has been a solid defenseman for the Flyers and now will stay in the Orange and Black for the next four years at a reasonable cap hit.
The Flyers have been busy just two days before the deadline, but there is a chance that Briere isn't done yet. He could go after a cheap forward or goalie to reward his team's play this season.
