The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they have placed forward Ryan Poehling on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 2. With this, the earliest Poehling can return is on Nov. 11 against the San Jose Sharks.
Poehling, 25, is a key part of the Flyers' bottom six, so it is certainly less than ideal that he will be missing the club's next two games at least. This is especially so when noting that they are going up against two tough teams next, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers.

Poehling has five assists, seven hits, and a plus-2 rating in 12 games this season with the Flyers.
