The Philadelphia Flyers start their offseason by signing prospect Massimo Rizzo to an entry-level contract.

Rizzo recently won the NCAA National Championship with Denver University and has decided to turn pro. Rizzo had 44 points (10 goals, 34 assists) in 30 games this season.

Rizzo was a junior at DU and played 107 career games in the NCAA. The Carolina Hurricanes originally selected him in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Draft. The Flyers traded David Kase's signing rights to acquire Rizzo just before this season.
