Anthony Duclair had two goals and one assist, but the San Jose Sharks lost their fifth straight game as the Anaheim Ducks won 6-4 on Thursday night.

"I liked our game. I just didn't like the score," Sharks head coach David Quinn said postgame.

Anthony Duclair scored twice, and Mike Hoffman and William Eklund scored for the Sharks. Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 24 shots.

The Ducks got goals from Leo Carlsson, Brett Leason, Alex Killorn, Frank Vatrano, and Adam Henrique. John Gibson stopped 24 shots.

It was a penalty-filled game, with five powerplay goals and a shorthanded goal scored.

Duclair is starting to come out of his early-season slump, as he had his second multi-goal game in the last five games. He also added an assist for a season-high three-point night.

Ty Emberson left the game after the first period and did not return.

Anthony Duclair pots his 12th goal of the season after Fabian Zetterlund spun off a defender and found him in the middle. This line has had two shifts and two great chances to score.

Leo Carlsson ties it up 20 seconds later with his 9th goal of the season. Killorn found Carlsson on the doorstep for a great deflection.

Brett Leason scores his 8th goal of the season. The Ducks were shorthanded, and Leason just walked around every defender and beat Kahkonen five-hole.

Alex Killorn scores his 8th goal of the season with a two-on-one. The Ducks easily exited their zone and had an odd-man rush the other way.

Mike Hoffman somehow got the puck to deflect into the net on the powerplay. It was his ninth goal of the season and first in 28 games.

William Eklund scores his 9th goal of the season with 4:20 remaining in the second period—the second straight powerplay goal for San Jose.

Frank Vatrano scores his 27th goal of the season on the powerplay after his shot rebounded off of Kahkonen's pad, then Ferraro's leg and into the net.

Adam Henrique scores his 17th goal of the season with a deflection in front of the net on the powerplay.

Anthony Duclair cleans up the rebound in front for his 13th goal of the season and second of the game.

Isac Lundestrom ends the game with his 4th goal of the season into the empty net.
