

Kirill Kaprizov's hat trick lifted the Minnesota Wild past 4-3 over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night.
The Sharks had terrific special teams play despite the outcome, as Mikael Granlund scored a powerplay goal and Nico Sturm a shorthanded goal. Anthony Duclair scored his third goal in the last three games for the Sharks' other goal. Kaapo Kahkonen made his first start against his former team and made 28 saves.
Other than Kaprizov's three goals, Frederick Gaudreau scored for the Wild. Filip Gustavsson made 12 saves.
The Sharks were heavily dominated for the game for the second straight night but capitalized on their opportunities when they got them.
William Eklund was a late scratch due to an illness.
