San Jose Sharks legends are headed back to San Jose.
Joe Thornton is getting his number in the rafters of the SAP Center against the Buffalo Sabres on Nov. 23. Just like when Patrick Marleau had his jersey number retired, the Sharks held a Legends game the night prior at TechCU Arena.
Freshly retired Joe Pavelski is expected to attend. The Sharks announced which alumni are expected to attend but did not confirm who will play in the game.
Here is the list of expected Sharks alums to attend the event:
Mark Bell, Rob Blake, Brian Boucher, Dan Boyle, Mike Brown, Jonathan Cheechoo, Ryane Clowe, Rob Davison, Jason Demers, Andrew Desjardins, Nils Ekman, T.J. Galiardi, Mike Grier, Micheal Haley, Scott Hannan, Dany Heatley, Kent Huskins, Patrick Marleau, Jamie McGinn, Kyle McLaren, Torrey Mitchell, Douglas Murray, Evgeni Nabokov, Scott Nichol, Scott Parker, Joe Pavelski, Tom Pederson, Mike Ricci, Patrick Rissmiller, Craig Rivet, John Scott, Alexei Semenov, Devin Setoguchi, James Sheppard, Mark Smith, Alex Stalock, Scott Thornton, Raffi Torres and Tommy Wingels.
Some of the Sharks' new broadcast crew will attend the game. Alex Stalock, Jason Demers, and Scott Hannan are some former players who will rotate as Dan Rusanowsky's color commentator.
The lineup of players could change but one notable missing name for the list is Owen Nolan.
The game will take place on Nov. 22, and general admission tickets will go on sale on Sept. 27 at 9 a.m.
