    The San Jose Sharks have moved up three spots to pick No. 11 in the 2024 NHL Draft after a trade that sent picks No. 14 and No. 42 to the Buffalo Sabres.

    The San Jose Sharks have moved up three spots to pick No. 11 in the 2024 NHL Draft after a trade that sent picks No. 14 and No. 42 to the Buffalo Sabres.

    Mike Grier sends the first-round pick acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Erik Karlsson trade. The 42nd pick was acquired from the New Jersey Devils in the Timo Meier trade. 

    San Jose will pick Macklin Celebrini first overall at tomorrow's draft, and now GM Mike Grier has moved up to possibly target a specific player. 

    Jason Bukala's 2024 NHL Mock Draft has standout Denver University defenseman Zeev Buium going to the Philadelphia Flyers at No. 12. San Jose needs to grow its defensemen prospect pool, and Buium is considered one of the best defensemen in the 2024 NHL Draft class.

    The NHL Draft begins tomorrow night.
