San Jose Sharks prospect Kasper Halttunen and the London Knights will play in the CHL's Memorial Cup Final tonight.
The 2023 second-round pick has been a goal-scoring machine for the Knights all season. He's turned it up even further during the OHL playoffs and Memorial Cup. The winger has three goals in three games in the Memorial Cup. He's got 17 goals in 18 combined playoff games between the OHL playoffs and Memorial Cup.
Halttunen has scored in various ways during the Knights' playoff run. While he can be versatile, his one-timer on the powerplay has stood out in a big way, with shades of Alex Ovechkin on the left circle.
Halttunen had back-to-back hat tricks during the OHL playoffs to help his team to an OHL Championship. His one-timer has gone so viral with the Knights' fan base that the team even made him a T-shirt about his one-timer.
The Knights will play Saginaw at 4:30 p.m. PT, and the game will be broadcast on NHL Network in the U.S.
