The San Jose Sharks have announced they have issued bona fide offers to 2023 draft picks Brandon Svoboda and David Klee. The team did not sign goalie Mason Beaupit to a contract.
Beaupit was a 2022 4th-round pick who played his last season in the BCHL, one step below Canada's top junior league, the CHL.
He struggled this season with the Langley Rivermen. In 28 games, he had a 3.10 GAA and a .904 save %.
Svoboda and Klee both played in the USHL. Svoboda played for the Fargo Force as they went on to win the Clarke Cup. He scored 20 points (12 goals, 8 assists) in 40 regular season games between the Youngstown Phantoms (25 games) and the Force (15 games).
Klee finished his 23-24 season with 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists) in 62 games with the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
Klee and Svoboda are 19 and should be on the 2024 Development Camp roster for the second straight season.
