Nick Robertson, Calle Jarnkrok, and Jake McCabe missed Friday's practice with injuries, per the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Robertson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the Maple Leafs said as practice came to a close. Jarnkrok is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Both were in Toronto's lineup during the team's 2-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday.
McCabe, who didn't play in Detroit, is dealing with an upper-body ailment which is also considered day-to-day.
Jarnkrok has been dealing with a lower-body injury throughout training camp, and it isn't known whether the two injuries — from earlier in camp and now — are related.
Easton Cowan and Nikita Grebenkin were also absent from practice. All three players played in Detroit on Thursday, meaning it could be a rest day for the trio.
Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube will likely address why those three players missed practice following the skate.
With McCabe missing practice, Phillipe Myers took his spot on Toronto's second pairing alongside Oliver Ekman-Larsson. The practice lines are below.
"Janrkrok, Robertson, McCabe: all day-to-day," Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube said, before adding that it's nothing serious.
