For the first time since the 2020 bubble, the Vancouver Canucks are off to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Canucks achieved the feat after a stress-inducing 1-0 win in Game 6 against the Nashville Predators. While it was a team effort, Vancouver received standout performances from Artūrs Šilovs, Pius Suter and Tyler Myers, who finish as the three stars from Game 6.

    1st Star: Artūrs Šilovs

Šilovs was spectacular in Game 6. The 23-year-old recorded his first career NHL shutout and was the reason the Canucks punched their ticket to the second round. A fashion icon, Šilovs performance will go down as one of the most impressive by a goaltender during the playoffs in franchise history.

    2nd Star: Pius Suter

Suter was superb for Vancouver all game. Not only did he score the series-clinching goal, but he finished with five shots on the net and, according to Natural Stat Trick, recorded a game-high four individual high-danger chances created. It was arguably one of the best games Suter has played this season as he stepped up to send the Canucks to the second round.

    3rd Star: Tyler Myers

Myers stepped up for Vancouver when they needed him most. He finished the night with a game-high four blocked shots, with the most important coming with only nine seconds left, where he used his entire body to block what should have been the game-tying goal from Gustav Nyquist. Ultimately, Myers helped create a moment most Canucks fans will remember for a long time as he laid his body on the line for the betterment of the team.
