Canucks prospect Parker Alcos will be joining the Quinnipiac University Bobcats in the NCAA for the 2026-27 season.

After over three seasons spent in the WHL, Vancouver Canucks prospect Parker Alcos is heading to the NCAA. According to reports, Alcos will join the Quinnipiac University Bobcats for the 2026–27 season, where fellow Canucks prospect Matthew Lansing also currently plays.

Alcos, who is from Port Moody, was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Draft after putting up a goal and 14 assists as a defender in 67 games with the Edmonton Oil Kings. He remained with the Oil Kings until this season, as he was traded ahead of the WHL Trade Deadline for a 2026 first-round pick in the CHL import draft, a 2027 second-round pick, and a 2026 third-round pick. Alcos finished his time with the Oil Kings with four goals and 40 assists in 167 games.

Now with the Kelowna Rockets, Alcos has seen an uptake in his offensive production, scoring three goals and five assists in 15 games with the Rockets. This brings his overall season total to five goals and 17 assists, when including the 31 games he spent with Edmonton earlier this season.

Alcos is the second current Canucks prospect to transfer from a Canadian junior league to the NCAA as of late, as last season, it was revealed that Anthony Romani would be moving from the Barrie Colts of the OHL to the NCAA, where he now plays with Michigan State University.
