After missing Game 2 with the flu, Tyler Myers will return to the Vancouver Canucks lineup for Game 3. Noah Juulsen is expected to come out of the lineup, as he was Myers' replacement in Game 2. Based on line combinations from practice, Myers will play with Carson Soucy as Rick Tocchet returns to his Game 1 defence pairings.
When asked about missing Game 2, Myers responded with, "It's the worst. Ask any player, and they will tell you that you have to miss a game for that; it's not fun, and it's not fun to watch. Honestly, I thought the guys played really well, defended well. It's one of those games where it just didn't seem to be going in for us. A lot to build off of, though."
Myers will be looking to replicate his Game 1 performance Friday night in Nashville. The hulking defender had five hits and three blocked shots while also playing 2:32 on the penalty kill. His mobility and puck movement should also help create some chances in the offensive zone, as getting shots on the net will be a focus for Vancouver in Game 3.
