The Edmonton Oilers could be without Leon Draisaitl for game two against the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow night.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said Draisaitl missed parts of last night's game with equipment issues and cramping.
During Oilers practice today, Draisaitl was not on the ice, leaving a giant question mark about whether he would play in game two. Knobnlauch said after practice today that he is unsure if Draisaitl or Adam Henrique will play. Henrique missed game one with an injury.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, there is "concern" about Draisaitl's injury. There is much confusion and speculation regarding when the injury occurred in the second period.
The Canucks have their significant injury to worry about with Thatcher Demko still on the shelf. Still, if the Oilers are without Leon Draisaitl, that is arguably the most critical loss to any NHL team. If he is out, the only thing worse for the Oilers would be if Connor McDavid also missed time.
