On his 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman spoke about Vancouver Canucks winger Andrei Kuzmenko and linked the Chicago Blackhawks as a team that could acquire the forward.

As Friedman says, the Chicago Blackhawks can't score. They sit second to last in the league with 104 goals and are tied with the San Jose Sharks with a 2.08 goals per game.

Friedman says that "they are tough to watch without [Connor] Bedard."

"You got to entertain. You got to try and score some goals," Friedman said. "Kuzmenko is a guy I'd be looking at if I were the Blackhawks."

Kuzmenko's turbulent season has been reported all year, and this will only throw more fuel to the fire.

Canucks GM Patrik Alvin and President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford have come out and talked about what the next steps are with Kuzmenko.

Kuzmenko is having a tough season offensively, with eight goals and 13 assists in 43 games.

With the Canucks being in first place in the Pacific division at the All-Star Break, rumours of them pushing all the chips to the center of the table should continue to grow. Expect Kuzmenko's name to come up in a lot of potential trades.
