Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports - Former Canucks Head Coach Enraged At Peter Laviolette After Rangers & Devils Game-Opening Line Brawl

Former Canucks head coach Travis Green and New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette were in a heated verbal argument after the New Jersey Devils and Rangers had a game-opening line brawl.

The line brawl occurred due to Rangers forward Matt Rempe's actions in two previous games against the New Jersey Devils. Five fights off the opening faceoff resulted in eight ejections between the two sides.

Green will have to earn his coaching stripes as he went down to four defensemen and ten forwards at the 0:02 second mark of the first period.
