The Vancouver Canucks lineup could be getting a shake-up ahead of Game 3. Head coach Rick Tocchet told the media on Saturday that lineup changes are a possibility as Vancouver looks to bounce back after a 4-3 overtime loss in Game 2. One of the names that might be coming out of the lineup is Nils Höglander who is averaging 10:23 of ice time through the first two games.

"I think, for me, we need more from Hoggy," said Tocchet. "I'm not sure what I am going to do with him right now if we are going to make some lineup changes because I didn't like his game yesterday. We gotta figure a few things out here. Really, it's individual-based. When you have the puck, you need to move your feet and be able to go in and make plays."

The Canucks will have plenty of options as they recently called up 13 players from Abbotsford after the team was eliminated from the Calder Cup Playoffs. Some names mentioned by Tocchet were Nils Åman and Linus Karlsson, as both are expected to travel with the team, according to the head coach. Vasily Podkolzin and Arshdeep Bains are two other players who have played for Vancouver this season and are options for Game 3.

As for the blue line, Tocchet mentioned that Noah Juulsen saying, "Juulsen is a possibility too. Might have to get him into the lineup." It is unclear which defenceman would come out of the lineup, but it could be Tyler Myers, who suffered an injury during Game 2. Myers left the game briefly in the first period after throwing a hit on Mattias Janmark but did return in the second period, finishing the night with 19:58 of ice time.

After splitting the first two games, the Canucks second-round series against the Edmonton Oilers switches to Edmonton for Games 3 and 4. Historically, Vancouver has struggled during the playoffs in Edmonton, going 0-5 to this point. Game time is set for 6:30 pm PT, with the winner taking a 2-1 lead in the series.
