Add Pearl Jam to the list of people supporting the Vancouver Canucks. During their concert at Rogers Arena on Monday night, the rock band from Seattle wished Rick Tocchet and the team good luck on their quest for the Stanley Cup. Pearl Jam performed over 20 songs on Monday, which was the second performance on their Dark Matter World Tour. Of note, Saturday and Monday nights concerts were the only Canadian shows on the tour, with the band scheduled to travel to the USA, UK, Australia and other countries between now and the end of November.

Pearl Jam also showed their support for the Canucks during Saturday's show at Rogers Arena but made a tiny spelling mistake in the message. The band misspelt Tocchet's name while showing their admiration for him. Regardless of the spelling, it seems that Pearl Jam is ready to cheer on Vancouver as they look to extinguish the Edmonton Oilers in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Canucks and Oilers start their second-round series on Wednesday at 7:00 pm PT. Despite Vancouver sweeping the season series and having home-ice advantage, most analysts and betting sites have Edmonton as their favourite. The two sides have only met twice in the postseason, with the last coming in 1992 when the Oilers defeated the Canucks 4-2.
