In the morning skate on Tuesday before the Golden Knights game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Jack Eichel was briefly on the ice. Bruce Cassidy told the media that he wasn’t sure if Eichel would be ready to play during the road trip. Today’s evidence is good news that Eichel’s return is imminent.
The Golden Knights are in Boston to battle the Bruins but no word on whether Eichel will be in the lineup.
The Golden Knights square off against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and could be a great way for Eichel to return to the lineup against his former team.
