Hartman was upset with the officials because he felt he was high-sticked by Noah Hanifin with a minute left in the third period. Hartman threw a stick in the direction of an official from the Wild's bench. The
The NHL Department of Player Safety also stated that he was inappropriately verbally berating officials. This is the second time Hartman has been suspended this season and three times in his career.
The Wild are chasing a playoff spot and will now have to play three of their final nine games without their top six winger.
