The Vegas Golden Knights have placed defenseman Alec Martinez on the IR, activated Tobias Bjornfot, recalled Brendan Brisson and have sent down Grigori Denisenko.

Vegas Golden Knights have placed defenseman Alec Martinez on the IR, activated Tobias Bjornfot, recalled Brendan Brisson and have sent down Grigori Denisenko.

Martinez has been struggling in the last couple of weeks and it was reported today that he was absent from practice and was placed on the IR with an undisclosed injury. 

Ben Hutton was skating alongside Alex Pietrangelo at practice. Hutton has played in 31 games this season but hasn't featured in the Golden Knights lineup since Dec. 28 against the Los Angeles Kings. 

Brisson played in two games after being sent down to the Henderson Silver Knights. He failed to record a point while the Silver Knights went 1-1.

Denisenko played in two games for the Golden Knights after he was recalled but failed to register a point in both games.
