The 17-year-old will move to the NCAA after his QMJHL career.

Liam Armit is in the midst of a solid QMJHL rookie campaign, and has now announced his commitment to play for the NCAA's Northeastern Huskies after his junior career.

Armit, 17, has 16 (7+9) points in 49 games across his first year with Baie-Comeau, playing in mostly a middle-six role.

The Gatineau native was the 50th overall pick in the 2025 QMJHL draft to Baie-Comeau, and is part of the team's very young nucleus that will lead them out of the basement in the coming seasons.

Armit will join a long list of active QMJHLers committed to Northeastern, including current stars like Nathan Lecompte, Liam Kilfoil and Marcus Kearsey.

It's clear the Boston-based school has prioritized QMJHL talent as a pathway to college, and have put a lot of resources into scouting players in the league.
