The impending overager will head to Bowling Green State University following his QMJHL career.
NCAA commitment season is seemingly never-ending, and another QMJHLer announced their college future on Thursday.
That player is Alexis Lemire, as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies blueliner coming off his third and most successful season in the league announcing he'll be heading to Bowling Green State University following his junior career.
It's unclear at this time whether this commitment will be for this upcoming season or for 2027-28, but with the timing of the announcement coupled with the fact the Huskies listed him on their training camp roster last week, it's likeliest he'll remain in Rouyn-Noranda for his overage season.

More of a two-way minute-muncher type of player, the 6-foot-3 rearguard put up 22 (3+19) points in 64 games last season for Rouyn-Noranda, and played tough matchup minutes most nights.
If Lemire indeed sticks around for his overage season, he'll likely be tasked with a very similar role on a retooling roster.
