A big third period from Blainville-Boisbriand and Penguins prospect Bill Zonnon leads to win over Sherbrooke.

Week 23 of the QMJHL season wrapped up on Sunday, with some thrillers going on across the league. One of these drama-filled games was a third period comeback from the Armada.

Sunday sure wasn't for a lack of drama across the QMJHL, and an afternoon game between Sherbrooke and Blainville-Boisbriand brought its fair share of it.

It was the visitors who started off hot, as Brogan McNeil scored a pair of goals to put Sherbrooke up 2-0 heading into the first intermission.

After a scoreless second, the Armada needed a big third period to pull themselves back into this game.

Vincent Collard scored his 12th of the year just before the 11 minute mark of the third, giving his team life down the stretch. Then, with 3:45 left to go, Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Bill Zonnon knotted the game up at two.

Despite Blainville-Boisbriand outshooting Sherbrooke 12-2 in the third, they couldn't find a winner late on in regulation, and so the teams went to the extra frame to decide a winner.

There, it was Matt Gosselin who played the hero, scoring off a Zonnon assist to complete the comeback, and send the fans home happy.

It was a pretty easy night for William Lacelle, only facing 18 shots. He stopped 16 of them to pick up another win. On the other side, Kyan Labbe was peppered, and managed to keep his team in it, stopping 32 of 35 Armada shots.
