The Portland Winterhawks pushed the Everett Silvertips to the brink of elimination on Monday.
For the second consecutive night, the only game on the WHL schedule went to overtime. Despite facing a 3-0 lead early in the second, the Portland Winterhawks were able to fight back, beating the Everett Silvertips 4-3 in Game 3. Here is a recap of the action from April 15.

Carter Sotheran was a star for the Winterhawks in their 4-3 overtime victory over the Silvertips. The Philidelphia Flyers prospect scored twice, including the game-winner, while also recording an assist in Monday's game. The real stars of the night, though, were both goaltenders, as both Tyler Palmer and Jan Špunar made 44+ saves in the game. The two teams will now have an extended break until Friday when Portland will try to punch their ticket to the WHL's Western Final.
