Two teams took strangleholds on their series, meaning all but one could be concluded by Game 4. Here is a look at all the action from April 16.
Saskatoon Blades 8, Red Deer Rebels 5
Series: Saskatoon Leads 3-0
The Saskatoon Blades remained perfect in the second round thanks to an 8-5 win over the Red Deer Rebels. Egor Sidorov put on a show, scoring a hat trick, while Trevor Wong recorded a goal and an assist. With the victory, Saskatoon now has a chance to sweep and go back to the Eastern Final for the second consecutive season.
Moose Jaw Warriors 5, Swift Current Broncos 3
Series: Moose Jaw Leads 2-1
Denton Mateychuk once again led the Moose Jaw Warriors to victory as they defeated the Swift Current Broncos 5-3 in Game 3. The Warriors captain had two goals and an assist while also recording a game-high five shots on net. Jagger Firkus also had a strong game with three assists, while Swift Currents' Owen Pickering scored his first career playoff goal in the loss.
Prince George Cougars 4, Kelowna Rockets 3 (OT)
Series: Prince George Leads 3-0
The Prince George Cougars needed overtime but kept their perfect playoff alive with a 4-3 win over the Kelowna Rockets. Matteo Danis was the hero, as his overtime winner was also his first career playoff goal. The Cougars will look to wrap up their series on Wednesday and advance to the West Final for the first time since 2017.
