Wednesday night featured three games, including the Saskatoon Blades, becoming the first team to punch their ticket to the second round. Moose Jaw also extended their lead over Swift Current while Kelowna stayed alive in their series versus Prince Groge. Here is a recap of all the action from April 17.
Saskatoon Blades 7, Red Deer Rebels 0
Series: Saskatoon wins 4-0
For the second consecutive night, Egor Sidorov played a starring role for Saskatoon. The Anaheim Ducks prospect had three goals and two assists for the Blades in their 7-0 Game 4 over the Red Deer Rebels. With the victory, Saskatoon sweeps Red Deer and will head back to the Eastern Conference Final for the second year in a row.

Moose Jaw Warriors 5, Swift Current Broncos 2
Series: Moose Jaw Leads 3-1
The Moose Jaw Warriors scored twice in the third period en route to a 5-2 victory over the Swift Current Broncos. Jagger Firkus led the way for the Warriors with two goals and an assist, while Jackson Unger stopped 36 of 38 shots he faced. Moose Jaw will have the chance to close out the series on Friday and advance to their first Eastern Conference Final since 2012.
Kelowna Rockets 2, Prince George Cougars 1
Series: Prince George Leads 3-1
The Kelowna Rockets stayed alive in the 2024 WHL Playoffs thanks to a 2-1 Game 4 victory over the Prince George Cougars. Jari Kykkanen was once again the Rockets' best player as he stopped 26 of 27 shots for his first victory of Round 2. The two teams will now get a day off as the series shifts back to Prince George for Game 5 on Friday night.
