Spokane Chiefs and Kamloops Blazers are headed to the 2026 WHL Playoffs

The Western Conference playoff picture is starting to fill out as two more teams have punched their tickets to the post-season. Those teams are the Spokane Chiefs and Kamloops Blazers. With Spokane and Kamloops clinched, only two spots remain open in the West, which is also the same in the East.

The Chiefs are building some momentum heading into the playoffs. Spokane has won seven of its last 10 games and currently sits in fifth place. The Chiefs will be the lower seed in the first round and will most likely play either the Prince George Cougars or the Kelowna Rockets.

As for the Blazers, they have a 4-5-1-0 record in their last 10 games. Kamloops currently sits on point below Spokane with 70 points in 65 games. Like the Chiefs, Kamloops' most likely first-round opponent will be either the Cougars or Rockets.
