Thanks to their 6-3 victory over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday night, the Swift Current Broncos have captured the Central Division crown. It is the first time the Broncos have won their division since 2000-01 when they lost in the Eastern Conference Final to the Rebels. Swift Current's 39 wins are the most since the 2017-18 season when they made it all the way to the Memorial Cup tournament.

The Broncos have been one of the best teams over the final month of the season. They have a deep forward group that's led by Conor Geekie, Clarke Caswell and Josh Filmon while also building a solid defensive unit that includes Owen Pickering, Ryan McCleary and Jakub Dvorak. Add in Reid Dyck in goal, and you have that should be a favourite in the East. While it won't be an easy road to the East Final, Swift Current has plenty of talent that should allow them to go on a deep run this year.
