Chloe Primerano is developing into a superstar. The Vancouver Giants prospect just finished her second season with RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna and put up numbers never seen before on the Female U18 Prep side. The recently turned 17-year-old defender is writing history and showing that she has a bright future ahead.

Starting the regular season, Primerano led the league with 89 points in 29 games. Despite not being a forward, she also finished as the league's top goal scorer with 35 goals. Whether it was setting teammates or scoring goals, she was phenomenal, recording a point in all but one game this season.

Primerano put her season on hold in January to represent Canada for the first time at the World U18's. She did not disappoint, leading the tournament with 16 points in six games. Capturing a Bronze at the event, she was also named Best Defender and MVP as she recorded the second-highest-scoring tournament ever behind only Amanda Kessel in 2009.

After finishing up her historic regular season, Primerano put on a show in the playoffs. In five postseason games, she led the league with 19 points, with her 14 assists being more than anyone else had points in the tournament. She capped off the final with a six-point performance, helping RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna capture their third straight title. With 108 points combined in just 34 games, Primerano may have just put forward one of the best U18 seasons in CSSHL history.

According to reports, Primerano is off to the University of Minnesota next season. She remains on the Giants' protected list and could sign a WHL contract this year without losing her NCAA eligibility. Whatever happens in the future, it is safe to say that she is one of the best prospects Canada has ever had and has left a lasting mark on the CSSHL.
