The Seattle Kraken have selected Blake Fiddler 36th overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old defender was the 10th WHLer selected, and first of the second round. Listed at 6'5", 220 lbs, Fiddler represented Team USA at this year's U18s.

Fiddler had a productive second season in the WHL. During his 64 games, he recorded 10 goals and 33 points. A defender who can impact the game at both ends of the ice, Fiddler is projected as a bottom-pair defenceman at the NHL level.
