One of the biggest surprises this season has been Terik Parascak. He has excelled in the offensive zone, showing that he can create chances through his playmaking while also scoring at a high rate. A player who always seems to be in the correct position, he is already rewriting the Prince George Cougars record book thanks to his sensational rookie season.
GP: 40 G: 5 A: 27 P: 32
Maximilian Curran is a versatile forward who can play all three positions and on both the penalty kill and power play. He is a great playmaker and understands how to use his size to protect the puck from defenders. A Silver Medalist at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup with Team Czechia, he continues to get better as the season continues and is proving he has no issues adjusting to the North American ice surface.
GP: 48 G: 6 A: 27 P: 33
Ollie Josephson is a two-way center who has proven to be an asset on the penalty kill. Known for his playmaking, he has excellent vision and can deliver tape-to-tape passes to teammates who find themselves in scoring positions. One of the hardest-working players on the ice, he plays a style that should transfer well to the NHL.
Record: 11-14-2 SV%: .905 GAA: 3.45
Dawson Cowen had a strong showing at the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, stopping 16 of 17 shots he faced. He has good size and can seal off both posts with no issues. A good puck tracker, he is very good at dropping down into the butterfly position, preventing any low shots from getting past him.
GP: 47 G: 21 A: 36 P: 57
One thing that stands out when watching Miguel Marques is his willingness to play a physical style while trying to get under the opponent's skin. He also can burn teams in multiple ways, whether through his playmaking ability or something as simple as getting shots through traffic and on the net. A very intelligent player, he can change the momentum of a game either by creating offensive chances or throwing a massive hit.
