Boston Bruins defenseman Kristian Kostadinski has made a big decision, as he has committed to Boston College. In addition, he will play this upcoming season with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League.

Kostadinski, 19, was selected by the Bruins with the 220th overall pick of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound defenseman is an old-fashioned shutdown defenseman who plays a heavy game. Because of this, he is certainly an interesting prospect for Bruins fans to pay attention to.

Kostadinski spent this past season with Frolunda HC's U20 team, where he had three goals, 18 points, 63 penalty minutes, and a plus-15 rating. Overall, it was a solid year for the left-shot defender, and it will now be interesting to see how he performs with the Fighting Saints this season and then BC later on.

This is certainly a notable decision by Kostadinski, as he will get the amazing chance to play for one of the top collegiate hockey programs. In addition, the Bruins must be happy, as he will develop his game in the same city once he makes the jump to the collegiate level.
