The Boston Bruins have announced that they have signed forward Dalton Bancroft to a one-year, entry-level contract for the 2025-26 season.
In addition, the Bruins shared that Bancroft will spend the rest of this season with the Providence Bruins on an amateur tryout.
Bancroft, 24, just completed his third season with Cornell University. In 36 games with the school during this season, he set a new career high with 15 goals and recorded 27 points. This was after he had 12 goals and 31 points in 34 games with the school in 2023-24.

In 103 games with Cornell over his three-year collegiate career, the 6-foot-3 forward posted 36 goals, 79 points, and a plus-34 rating.
With the Bruins' prospect pool needing serious help, there is no harm in the Original Six club signing an intriguing winger like Bancroft to this entry-level deal. It will be fascinating to see how much of an impact he makes with the organization from here.
