This Bruins center is having a season to remember.

Heading into the 2023-24 season, there were plenty of questions surrounding the Boston Bruins. Most notably, Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci retired, and the Bruins did not have the cap space to bring in proven top-six centers to replace them. As a result, Charlie Coyle and Pavel Zacha became the club's top two centers, and they both are handling the roles with flying colors.

Coyle, in particular, has been incredibly impressive. The former third-line center is thriving in a top-six role. The Massachusetts native already set a new career-high with 24 goals on the year, and now the same can be said for points.

In the Bruins' impressive 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, Coyle recorded his 57th point of the season, assisting on Brad Marchand's 400th career goal. Coyle's previous career-high of 56 points occurred all the way back in 2016-17 when he was a member of the Minnesota Wild.

This only paints a bigger picture of how wonderfully Coyle has stepped up in a top-six role for the Bruins this campaign. He has been one of the main reasons for the Bruins' success this campaign, and hitting this new career high in points is a nice cherry on top for the 32-year-old.
