After an ugly 6-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on March 4, the Boston Bruins have made several moves.
The Bruins have announced that Patrick Brown, Ian Mitchell, and Riley Tufte have been recalled from the Providence Bruins. In addition, Vinni Lettieri has been called up to Boston's roster but on an emergency basis.
These are not the only roster moves Boston has made, as Georgii Merkulov and Jeffrey Viel have been sent back down to Providence.
Seeing the Bruins switch up their roster is not particularly surprising. They had a brutal night against the struggling Predators. Now, Brown, Lettieri, Mitchell, and Tufte are getting their latest shots on the NHL roster because of it.

Perhaps the most notable roster move of the bunch is Merkulov heading back to Providence. The 24-year-old forward is one of the Bruins' top prospects, posting 13 goals and 44 points in 47 games with Providence this season. In six games this season with Boston, he has an assist and a minus-1 rating.
