This former Boston Bruins forward has scored his first goal with his new team.

During the off-season, former Boston Bruins forward Tyler Bertuzzi signed a four-year, $22 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. This was after the 29-year-old winger recorded 21 goals and 43 points in 80 games this past season with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Bertuzzi's start with the Blackhawks was quiet, as he had zero points and a minus-1 rating in his first four games. However, he broke the ice in a big way during the Blackhawks' last matchup against the San Jose Sharks, scoring his first goal with his new team.
Bertuzzi's first goal as a Blackhawk was a beauty, too, as the gritty winger tipped home a nice Teuvo Teravainen feed past Sharks goalie Vitek Vanecek.
The Bruins certainly know what Bertuzzi can do offensively when playing at his best. In 21 regular-season games with the Bruins in 2022-23, he had four goals, 16 points, and a plus-4 rating. He then followed that up with five goals and 10 points in seven post-season games for Boston.

It will now be intriguing to see how well Bertuzzi builds off this first goal as a Blackhawk from here.
