The 2023-24 season was a bit a down year for Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm. After posting 10 goals and 53 points in 2022-23, he followed that up with just three goals and 26 points this past season. While Lindholm was still pretty productive, there is no question that he is capable of providing more when playing at his best.

We are beginning to see just that from Lindholm, as he is off to starting to heat back up with the Bruins this season. In five games so far, the 6-foot-4 defenseman has one goal and three points. In addition, he had a goal and an assist in the Bruins' latest contest against the Colorado Avalanche.

If the Bruins are going to be a big threat in the Eastern Conference this season, they will need top players like Lindholm playing at their highest levels. Given his recent play, it appears that Lindholm could very well be heading in that direction.

Lindholm will continue to receive plenty of chances from the Bruins, as he is a mainstay in their top four and gets time on both their power play and penalty kill. As a result, it will be fascinating to see what kind of campaign he has in 2024-25.
