The Boston Bruins have recalled eight players to their NHL roster.

The Boston Bruins play their final pre-season game tonight (Oct. 5) against the Washington Capitals. After this, they will prepare for their season-opener against the Florida Panthers on Oct. 8.
In preparation for their pre-season matchup against the Capitals, the Bruins have recalled eight players.
Riley Duran, Brett Harrison, Georgii Merkulov, Jaxon Nelson, Michael Callahan, Jackson Edward, Ryan Bischel, and Kasimir Kaskikuo are now back on the NHL roster.
It is not surprising at all to see the Bruins call up some AHLers before their final pre-season game. With the regular season just a few days away, the Bruins will likely be resting many of their regulars for their pre-season contest against the Caps.
