The Boston Bruins have signed Riley Duran to a two-year, entry-level contract. The club also announced that he will join the Providence Bruins on an ATO for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign
The Bruins selected Duran with the 182nd pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Since then, the young forward has shown promise at the collegiate level.
Duran, 22, had nine goals and 16 points in 35 games with Providence College this season. The 6-foot-2 forward spent each of the last three seasons with the school, posting 27 goals and 55 points in 102 games over that span. However, the Massachusetts native is now set to begin his professional career after signing this ELC.
Riley Duran Duran will now look to provide the Baby B's with a boost during the final stages of the season. It will be intriguing to see how much of an impact he can make both now and in the future for the Bruins organization.
