This Bruins superstar continued his hot stretch of play in a big way against the Flames.

The Boston Bruins secured a big 4-3 overtime win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night (Nov. 7). Captain Brad Marchand was the club's hero, as he scored the overtime winner. 

This is just the latest strong performance Marchand has had as of late. The 36-year-old winger has been heating up big time, and his recent stats perfectly demonstrate that.

Marchand has four goals and seven points over his last seven games. This is exactly the kind of production that the Bruins want to see from their captain, and his goal from here will be to maintain it. 

With this hot stretch of play, Marchand now has four goals and 11 points in 15 games this season. That's a solid start to the season, especially when noting that he had three off-season surgeries.
