The Boston Bruins play the Nashville Predators on Tuesday (Oct. 22). Their goal will be to bounce back from their tough overtime loss to the Utah Hockey Club and secure a victory.

The Bruins' lines at Tuesday's morning skate indicate that some major changes could be on the way. One of the most notable lineup changes was that forward Max Jones played on the second line with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic.

When noting that Jones has been scratched for all but two games so far this season, this is a grand opportunity for the gritty winger. If the Bruins officially end up rolling with these lines against the Predators, Jones will be in a great spot to show them that he deserves more regular playing time.

It is no secret that the Bruins have struggled to find success with their second line this season. Players like Morgan Geekie and Justin Brazeau have gotten reps in the top six, but nothing seems to be getting the line going. It will now be very fascinating to see if Jones can help change things on that front.

In two games this season with the Bruins, Jones has zero points, four hits, and four penalty minutes.
