This former Bruins forward is heading back to TD Garden on a hot streak.

The Boston Bruins will be facing off against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday (Nov. 26). This is a notable game in the schedule, as former Bruins forwards Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen are returning to TD Garden for the first since signing with Vancouver this past off-season. Former Bruins defender Derek Forbort is currently injured, so he is not expected to be in the lineup for Vancouver.
DeBrusk is undoubtedly the most notable of the trio, though, as this will be the first time he has ever faced off against the Bruins as an opponent. The Bruins selected him as the 14th overall pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, and he spent all seven of his first NHL seasons with the Original Six club.

DeBrusk is also returning to TD Garden red-hot, as he had two goals and an assist in his last game against fellow former Bruin Linus Ullmark and the Ottawa Senators. In addition, he has five goals and nine points over his last 10 contests.
Seeing DeBrusk starting to put up solid offense with the Canucks is not all too surprising. He provided plenty of that during his time as a Bruin, posting 138 goals and 266 points in 465 games. In addition, he scored at least 25 goals in three seasons and had at least 40 points in five campaigns as a Bruin.

It will now be fascinating to see if the Bruins can shut down DeBrusk in his return to TD Garden.
