Former Boston Bruins defenseman Jarred Tinordi's 2024-25 season is over.

Tinordi's current team, the Calgary Wranglers, have announced that the former Bruins blueliner has suffered a lower-body injury that required season-ending surgery.

Tinordi, 33, signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Flames this past off-season. He spent the entirety of this season in the AHL with the Wranglers, where he had one goal, four assists, and 29 penalty minutes. This was after he had nine assists and 64 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2023-24.

Tinordi spent the final portion of the 2020-21 season as a member of the Bruins after the Original Six club claimed him off waivers. In 14 regular-season games with Boston, he had one assist, 44 hits, and a minus-5 rating. He also played in four post-season games with the Bruins, where he had five penalty minutes.
