Fresh off a dominant season with the Ottawa 67’s, the athletic Penn State commit brings elite play-reading and fluid movement to Carolina’s pipeline as a mid-round steal.
The Carolina Hurricanes have selected goaltender Ryder Fetterolf with the 125th overall pick.
Fetterolf, 18, was the OHL and CHL Goaltender of the Year this past season, posting a 0.923 save percentage across 41 games with the Ottawa 67's.
The 6-foot netminder reads plays well and moves fluidly within his crease. One of the more athletically talented goalies in the draft.
The Pittsburgh native is committed to play for Penn State in the fall.
